Probate

If someone you know dies while owning real property (a house, condo, farm, vacant land), or a significant amount of other assets (cars, bank accounts or investments greater than $50,000), their estate will need to be probated. While the Probate process is not as difficult or as painful as many believe, it can be a bit daunting to take on without the aid of an attorney. Choosing someone who is familiar with your court’s rules and forms will ensure that the process goes as smoothly as possible and is completed quickly. We offer a free consultation to potential clients. Typically, we will then:

  • File all necessary paperwork with the court
  • Open the probate estate
  • Publish and mail all required notices
